Annandale Movers

Annandale sits in Clinton Township, out along the Route 78 corridor in Hunterdon County, and it is a different kind of move from the ones closer to the city. Properties are bigger, driveways are longer, and there is usually more in the outbuildings than anyone remembers. What actually makes an Annandale move different

The driveway. A long gravel or unpaved drive that a loaded tractor-trailer cannot safely use means a smaller vehicle shuttling to the road, and that is real time. We look at the approach before quoting rather than after.
Turnaround space. Some properties have nowhere for a full-size truck to turn. Better to know that at the estimate.
Outbuildings. Barns, sheds, detached garages and workshops hold the heaviest things on a property — tools, equipment, timber, tractors — and they are the single most common reason an estimate made off a room count comes in low.
Basements and attics. Older houses out here have both, usually full, and usually not on the list when we are first called.

Moving out of Annandale

Moving into Annandale

The common one is a family coming west from Union, Essex or Hudson County for land and a school district. If you are coming from an apartment, be aware the job changes shape: what fitted in a two-bedroom apartment does not fill a house, and the second half of the move is usually a year of buying furniture rather than a truck.

Being honest about travel

We are based in Rahway, which is not next door. On an hourly local move that travel time is part of the job and it will be in your estimate rather than hidden in it. For a large house out here we would rather do a walk-through than guess, because the driveway and the outbuildings decide the day.
